It’s just more unnecessary drama added to prolong this rough patch between Stellaride. Not that I’m okay with this whole Seager storyline, but if she had stayed in touch with Severide while she was out of town, I’m sure he would’ve kept her up to date on all the arson investigations. Jealousy doesn’t look good on Stella and I’d be lying if I said her getting upset about Severide working with Seager ( Andy Allo) didn’t annoy me. No matter how many times Severide tells her they’re okay and she’s forgiven, she still feels like she has to make up for lost time. She’s had to work ten times harder than anyone to get to where she is today, but what Severide helps her realize is not even Stella Kidd is perfect. Because she’s a female firefighter of color, she feels like she’s constantly being judged for every decision she makes, which is true. The thing about Stella is that she puts herself up on a pedestal, putting pressure on herself to be perfect.
